Why worry? let evolution rule....?

Why does everyone seems to be so worried about things like global warming?
Don't they realize that, just like in the past, life will evolve to compensate for things like this.
What we really need to be worrying about is that we keep insisting on fixing things like birth defects, curing genetic diseases, removing tumors. Don't they realize that we may be ridding ourselves of the world's salvation? We should actually be promoting these types of things in the human genome, after all who knows what useful feature is being snuffed out by these actions.
We may be ridding ourselves of the very thing that may in fact aid us in our future survival in our new environment.

Instead of worrying we should be rejoicing and embracing the changes to come with all confidence that evolution will take care of all things just as its done over all time.
Eat, drink, be merry for tomorrow we evolve.

Darwins theory of Evolution was false. You should do some further research on it and you will find that it is. Evolve from monkeys all you want. Those of us that are christians have the knowledge and understanding of our Creator, The Almighty God. Next thing you know you'll be claiming that you came from little white mice. Whatever................

I doubt evolution, if it were an entity, would've expected that something it guided into existence would throw such a gigantic wrench into the works.

In the past 98% of creatures went extinct. If we don't want to go extinct, best to worry about global warming, especially because we are causing it and we can change it.

The scientists have proven the theory of evolution wrong. It is evolution of the Soul not the body. Read Forbidden Archeology, and The hidden History of the Human race by Michael A. Cremo. Has heaps of archaeological finding that man was way more advancec in every way even millions of years ago, and they didn't look like apes or cavemen.

To be totally fair, self-preservation is an evolutionary advantage.

Those that are defeatist obviously are not fit. So, why would humanity just sit back and wait for a demise that we are capable of dealing with?

No doubt we will evolve, but climate changes, if they occur as the Chicken Littles are alleging, will certainly be inconvenient until we do so.

There is a difference between natural variations that occur through evolution and things that are detrimental to all life on this planet. If you remember, evolution happens over millions of years. If life was to adapt to global warming, it wouldn't happen over night. Alot of damage could be done in the time that you expect evolution to kick in.

And as far as what you say about birth defects and tumors -- could you be anymore insensitive? The process of evolution is all about the advancement of species. If a child is born with certain defects, this is a natural variant but NOT evolution ... because the defect will most likely cause the child to die before he/she becomes mature and can reproduce and carry on the species.

it think people are more worried about global warming because IT has been 'man made' - and nature is trying to balance it. In the past i suspect that 'natural' disasters without any aid from the human.
