Any one have first aid for shaved pubic hair???

If someone is stupid enough to shave all their pubic hair- or even perhaps needed shaved for medical procedure- gosh it HURTS growing back. So far best cure has been lidocaine gel topped with a powder made by monistat. But yikes this is painful.

Is it true is people wax it that it doesn't grow back bristly? I will NEVER do this again unless there is a way to avoid the pain growing back.

go to a spa, most of them have toners that you can use on shaved hair to ease the pain of it growing back and prevent ingrown hairs.

and yes, when you WAX, you remove the hair at the root. It has to grow back from scratch, and comes in easier. When you shave it, you CUT it, leaving a sharp edge that has to push back through your skin, and this is usually just quite itchy for most people. I recommend waxing or using nair.

You should put some cream that has alpha hydroxy acids to avoid issues

whats wrong with shaving off all your pubic hair (if your a girl).... there is no point to it....

Um... I didn't know it HURT. i just thought it itched. I will tell you from experience, waxing is the way to go, at least in my opinion. It hurts like a ***** when getting it done... but the growing back period is soooo much nicer and less frequent. Be prepared for the initial pain... but my hair has thinned out so much since waxing, I don't think I'll ever go back to shaving!!!

It doesn't grow back bristly when you wax because the hairs are starting to grow again and they are small. When you shave, the large root part is still there...so it hurts when it comes through the skin

I trim and shave and it never hurts. I put lotion on before, during and after I shave and it's always smooth

I don't know if I am some alien or what... Everyone I have talked to says it hurts when it grows back but I never had any troubles I always keep mine bald but there has been times where I am to lazy and it grows back but it doesnt hurt or itch maybe cause I do it all the time.. Sorry your having troubles...

It only hurt when I cut my lip of my Vagina. but use Lavender

You will never ever ever have an issue with this again if you shave then use neosporin on the shaved area.

if you do continue to shave down there use a shaving cream with aloe and vitamin e in it i found that to be helpful and if you dont want to shave down there and cant afford to be waxed try nair that works really well and leaves the skin smoother.for the itchiness and painful part i would try cortizone you can buy it practically everywhere but go with the clear gel kind also it really wouldnt hurt if you bought some vitamin e cream
