If god is so perfect and he created us, why did we as men have to invent so many things?

to aid us in survival? Intelligent men of reason invented medicine and cures for illness for example.If we'd left it up to religious people we'd still be looking to the sky If god created everything then he created disease. Why do christians constantly say men are sinful instead of saluting the men who have made a difference to our world and lives for the better? It is thoroughly disrespectful don't you think?

-The story of a divine child being born of a virgin mother on December 25th, performing healings and resurrections, having 12 disciples (the signs of the zodiac), and having a last supper with flattened bread (which had crosses on them by the way to symbolize the sun) was all done a few thousand years before Jesus. Yes, Jesus is a rip-off of the Persian god of "light and truth" (those symbols Sound familiar?). Mithra makes Jesus look like a cheesy rerun. Look up Mithra yourself if you don't believe me.

I don't think the men who made medicine and etc are sinful, however none of us are perfect and we are all born into this world as sinners because of what Adam and Eve did. There are religious scientist and others who also work in medicine research and other kinds of research and who are you to say that everyone who helped prevent diseases are not Christian? (because that is what you saying wen you say if we left it up to...)

I think you are generalizing a touch and if everything was perfect then why would we need or turn to God? Most wouldn't.. thats why it lets us know that sometimes God lets bad times happen to bring people closer to him.

if we where not all born into this world of SIN then we would not have to be saved and born again through Christ.

because christians don't live for this world christians live for the next life and by the way there are and were plenty of christian contributors to technology. we didn't have to invent so many things cave men lived off of hardly nothing for years. we just try to make our short life more comfortable while we are here. believe me brah i salute the man that invented air conditioning cuz i live in south texas. if he is not a christian i do not judge him but only hope he would be able to benefit one day by becoming one

Every person has their own skill which is strong within them....Jesus was from a family of carpenters, Peter was from a family of fishermen, others were metal workers, sail makers, potters, farmers, healers, etc.,.

Their personal "religion" was not a factor in the creativity and skill in doing their individual tasks....including that of "inventions"....trial and error created medicines after study through TIME....and, as man "progressed", the illnesses "progressed" with them

God is perfect, but we are not. We need to invent things to help curb or cure the ill effects our imperfection creates. God didn't create disease, we allow it to happen by being unclean. There were specific laws concerning cleanliness given to the Israelites, and they were also forbidden to eat certain animals that were considered unclean. Today we know those animals harbored certain parasites that cause intestinal illnesses. As long as the Israelites obeyed God's laws they were prosperous and healthy. When they disobeyed, they suffered the consequences. All glory belongs to God, so even if certain men invent things, it is because God gave us the intelligence to do it, and allowed it to happen.

God created us with the intelligence that we would need to create all the things we have. Nothing happens except by His will. Diseases remind us how greatful we should be when we are healthy, because we only remember or actually blame God when we get actually sick. We should not take that for granted my believing brothers and sisters.
Diseases can make us stronger in our faith, by showing Him steady faith with the patience that the prophets taught us to have...
We are not born sinners, everybody is responsible for their own deeds until the day of Judgement, when the One and Only will show the greatest fairness towards us...

I think it depends on why we are here. Some of us believe that this place is somewhere we came for a short period of time to learn and grow, and that the reason we are here is to learn those lessons. If all was pefect, then we wouldn't learn a heck of a lot would we??

I think we were given the tools, and what we do with them is up to us. I wonder if all the money spent on the current war was put to use towards curing disease or feeding the poor how much good could have come out of that. But that is a totally different topic.

Anyway, that's my belief to your question. Can't wait to learn my lesson and get the heck out of here and go home, where I think things are far more "perfect" than here.

I think we have our potential, we have our free will, and if we were to use them better I think this place would be in much better shape. So would many people IMHO. But for some it seems easier to remove our roles and responsibility.
