HELP! Excema and oozing spots on my breast!?

I have excema all over my body and particularly the skin on my left breast is terribly itchy and thin. I scratched it really bad one time cause it was driving my crazy and somehow managed to take the skin off or something. I now have these oozing yellowish patches (I think it's puss) all over my areola. I've tried covering them with band aids and gauze with neosporin. It's not helping though - all they do is continue to dry up and when I remove them they take the skin off again! It's a terrible cycle and I don't know what to do. I'm kind of embarrased to go to the Dr. and I also don't have health insurance right now. Does anyone know of a good over-the counter cream or ointment? Any natural cures?

Go buy some Bag Balm. You can find it in the pet section at Wal Mart. It comes in a square green tin. It is what Dairy Farmers put on cow teats when they get chapped from milking. Clean your breast and dry. Put some Bag Balm on a gauze the size you need, and place on your oozing yellow patches. Do this twice a day. When you notice a significant change do it once at night before bed. I use Bag Balm on my lips everyday. I put it on my feet at night and cover with socks to keep my feet soft. We also put it on cut and scrapes. It does seem to help things heal faster !!! Good luck !!!

You really need to get a prescription strength cream from a doctor. In the meantime...look in the baby supplies section at any drug store or Wal-Mart, Target, etc. You can usually find washes and creams for babies with eczema. It may provide you some temporary relief.

go to the emergency room, they have to see u with or without insurance. if you keep scratching it, you are going to cause and infection, and you may have to get both your breast taken off.

The natural (herbal) anti-eczema cream from http://www.champori.com is very good.

use oatmeal. make it into a paste let it sit for five minutes and scrub it should help with the dry patches, put some cortizone on and cover it so it doesnt smudge off also use anything with oatmeal in it stay away from products like baby oil itll just make you itch more if its really severe you may need an antiinflamitory steroid excema sucks dont scratch use ice if it get unbearable avoid long baths and use cetaphil to clean your skin
