Why do human's keep trying to stop diseases and plagues?

Let mosquitos run rampant, and you can't control aid's if there was no diseases to control the human population, More people would die with over-population, sad but true.

I think you should control the disease, but not find a cure, sad but true.

eh, so what if we do stop the diseases, and everyone was living happily ever after, but then since we have NO threat to human beings besides natural occurances such as mega-volcanoes, then everything would turn awry for your grand-kids and their kids with over-population, societys will fall apart, and the population of the world would dwindle alot more faster then aid's could ever inflict on our race.

So you wouldn't care if you're son or daughter died prematurely from some rare disease or illness? Or seen a loved one affected by some other disease/illness in which they slowly & painfully rotted away & died?

If you have anyone in your family that was affected by some disease or illness you could relate to how much a cure is needed. To simply control the disease & turn a blind eye when people die of it is to be inhuman.

+++ As for overpopulation, there are plenty of wars, floods, famines, droughts, etc. that will reduce the population. As much as we try to come up with better solutions to save the world & everyone on it, there is always something else unexpected that screws us all over & helps maintain the population.

This is a stupid question. But you are entitled to your own beliefs.

survival instinct.

As long as you've got your health...

I wouldn't be surprised if aids was a released disease not one that just happened.
At to your question , Why not.
Those people need their jobs as much as we do ours.

People try to control and cure disease for many reasons...and not of them have the same reasons. The medical companies do it for profit. Most doctors do it because they actually care...they hate seeing people suffer. It's personal to them. Most of us, it's simply an instict for self-preservation.

Don't worry about us over populating due lack of disease. Have you ever noticed that when ever we cure a plague, it doesn't take nature too long to come up with a meaner one? We humans, with the way we seem to like going to war and killing each other...we don't need a disease to limit our population...Though more frequent use of birthconntrol might be a good idea. Sad...but true.

We do these things so we WON'T F&&CKING DIE YOU JACK@SS!
