Fish medicine?

I bought a medicine for my fish called betta revive. Betta revive is a medicine to cure disease for betta. I was wondering if betta revive can also work on other freshwater fish. For more information, visit this website

Yes, I own the product as well and it has worked well on my other fish. If you look closely at what's found in the product (neomycin sulfate, methylene blue, malachite green chloride, cyanocobalamin, and electrolytes) they're rather common in other tropical fish meds as well. Don't forget, bettas are tropical fish as well. Companies just like to make *special* betta products because they're smaller and easier to use in small doses (for your little betta tank) and so they can charge more ;)

Yes but not as effective i wouldnt recommend trying on other types of fish.

It'll work for other fish -- it's just neomycin (an antibiotic) and a B-vitamin.

I've wasted a lot of money over 40 years of keeping fish. The things I have leaned are A. take sick fish out and isolate.B.double the aquarium salt in the isolation tank and increase temp to 82 to 84 f C. most fish medications cost more than they are worth.Bettas have a life expectancy of about 3 years is yours a old fish ?

im not sure if it will be... better safe than sory. you probably wont find many people that know becuase no one wants to expierament with their fish like that. i asked if if anyone knew if you could feed spiders to oscars (just for kicks and giggels) and i got butt kiss - nothin no help. but you probably want to go ahead and get medicin for your type of fish illness. it works on the spific case of worm ect. read the back of the medicin you have and see what it seys it cures it might help
