What is this Kool-aid stuff? Why is it associated with extremism?

Would we cure all inter-religeous hostility if we spread Real Ale everywhere? (It might not be the complete solution:but its worth a try)

Kool-Aid is associated with extremism on account of Jim Jones....he was the leader of a cult, and he persuaded all of his followers to drink Kool-Aid laced with poison....

As far as the Ale solution goes....the Muslims have this hangup about any beverage made from the fermentation of grapes or wheat.....I'd suggest mead instead, if only it didn't taste like $hit....

Kool-aid is a drink Mix. An extremist cult leader used it to poison a couple hundred of his followers.

Kook-aid is a drink.

Band-aids are a type of bandage; such are applied for temporary solutions to serious problems.

Ales (other than ginger-aile types) probably just make a person so drunk they no longer realise a problem exists.

In the early 70's Jim Jones moved members of his cult to jonesborough (in guyana, i think), and Jones' security guards killed a congressman or senator sent to investigate why noone contected their families and to make sure everyone was safe, and when he found out, Jones ordered all his followers to take poison, The unsuspecting and children were fed strycnine laced koolaid and all died who took it. A few tried to refuse and were shot, but some managed to escape into the bush and told reporters what happened. And of course, Muslims continually bring up the past when arguing wwith anyone else, never focusing on what They are allowing to happen among their ranks today
