Oprah and her dreams?

Thanks to Oprah young girls in Afica will have a education.. Hopefully it will help educate them more about the spread of aids. So much so we as a government wouldn't have to contribute so much of our money to the country, we can use the money here to find a cure.. GREAT Job Oprah.. much love... What are your thoughts?

I agree and support Oprah fully, I just wish other celebrities and people would hop on bored... those girls are just a fraction of the people who need help. But do support Oprah call it "Oprah Worshiping" if you want I'm just glad somebody cares enough to stop ridiculing and pointing fingers, and doing something positive to help.

she buys houses and donates money to a whole sh*tload of people in our country. I don't get it, why complain about a person when they're doing something good to benefit other people... I wonder what all these anti-Oprah people are doing to help the world... If your not going to support the help then do us a favor and stop breathing.

I think Oprah is still a wonderful leader and obviously her efforts to promote a better well being never falters. Folks that are hating on Oprah aren't doing anything better.

What's with this entitlement American attitude? Oprah did a good thing. People in the country have enough support systems to squander and take advantage of.

No one is critizing Bono for his AIDS campaign.

Anyhoo, people who critize other people for trying to do good deeds are a++holes in my opinion.This country has plenty of resources for its citizens. AIDS is ravishing the country of Africa and children of being orphaned by the millions. Don't see that happening in the USA?

As for money for the cure, since you seem to be so concerned about it, why do you write to your president and tell him that ...Afterall he has spent $350 billion on the war in Iraq, surely that would be better used towards a cure....don't you think?

It would make Oprah's 40 million look like pocket change.
