Will anybody help these children?

in africa, there are many orphaned children. they have either HIV or AIDs...is there a way we can put an end to it? will scientists find a cure...? or is it going to take a miracle from god to heal these children of HIV or AIDs?
couldn't people also try helping these kids deal with it? parents in africa find out their child has this deadly disease and they leave these helpless children to fend for themselves...including babies... there are some people who try to help them... but there is not enough people out there who know what is going on in africa...

beginning in the 1970s and 1980s,new diseases emerged in Africa and new strains of viruses appeared. aids for example spread rapidly through many regions of the african continent. at the end of 2007, there was 2.5 million children with hiv around the world. of the 2.1 million people who died of aids in 2007, more than one in seven were children. every hour, around 40 children die as a result of aids. does this not bother anybody. when i saw the pictures of some children who died and who have aids i cried. it is terrible. people should care about this. they should stand up. Do you think it is fair that mothers have to watch their children die because their children have aids?

Its heartbreaking we all feel the same. That's why the adverts come on at tea time!
Education is the key but of course theres no money. What worries me about donating money to these worthy charities is that maybe the money does not go where it should.

Vote in a new president who doesn't refuse money to half the charities operating in Africa because they don't promote abstinence only or commit the heinous crime of performing life-saving abortions...

Ever notice what group of people is mostly infected this disease and many other? The poor, our government and others could care less so they don't find cures.... or they may already have them but will only use it for the rich. For them this is any easy way to get rid of the poor, there is a special society that no one knows about and those are the ones that run **** and profit from everything............ There may be a few of you who know what I'm talking about, but the rest probably just think I'm crazy. And To Rachel84..... Do you really think that by voting for a new president, a cure for AIDS will be found? or that will have a better economy?? or that we'll get better health care? it's all a bunch of bullshit that they say so we'll vote for them, and once they're in office they screw us! come on now! lets be realist things will never change, if anything things are going to turn for the worst Bush ****** things up for America.

Only sweet death can save them now. We must sterilize all humanity.

Actually the majority of these children are not abandoned - their parents and other family members have died from the disease.

It is an awful disease and more needs to be done to help the orphans and all children with HIV.
