Do you think that some diseases set a limit for people?

This is something I'm curiois about. There are certain diseases that are (usually) caused by sinful actions such as AIDS and other like diseases. Do you think that if a cure was found, poeple would sin more often knowing that it won't do any major effects to their bodies? Why or why not?

Do you mean sex is sinful action, no not at all it is pleasure,when no one knows about AIDS they use to have sex the way they want,because the sexually transmitted diseases( STD) have treatment, People will get AIDS without doing any sinful actions also,those who are not aware of AIDS, who are in sedation(drugs,alcohol)still doing the same but if there is treatment no doubt the fear will go and action will start from childhood because of advnced technology.

studies have shown that having the death penalty has little or no deterant to commiting a crime. Probably in the case of other types of unreasonable decisions where pasion plays a part then a disease will have no effect of the outcome. However, if a person has aids and wishes to punish people in general or specific types of people then a new weapon becomes available to them.

It's hard to tell. I remember when they discovered AIDS, all of the experts calamined that sex between all people would come to a complete stop forever, but we can see that didn't happen.

If it did limit them now, AIDS would not be spreading like wildfire. Sometimes I think the human race innately wants to destroy its self.

AIDS is caused by a virus, not a sin. It's the same for Ebola and the Bubonic Plague. As a matter of fact, in the Middle Ages most people thought The Plague WAS caused by sin, so they huddled together in the streets and churches to pray for forgiveness. Do you know what happened? Well, let's just say God didn't absolve them of their "sins".

It's not "sin" that spreads AIDS, it's the church.
