I'm a 64 year old cute boy...I'm confused, my science teacher or the dumb priest?

My science teacher said that we evolve from some sort of a Ape , and the adaptation , survival , facing natures severity learning skills and love to the children has bring us to this stage. My friend told me that we are made from clay balls, and a priest told me that we are from Adam and eve, the world is made in six days.. I feel like its better to study the easy way. So I can just simply write the bible content to my science exam. The god is poerfull and he made the world in 6days . end of story!!! But . .
I want to be a science person to help the cancer researches or AIDS. what should I follow? Or can i cure them using a good prayer?

Can a fish learn how to have lungs? Can a one celled organism face natures severity, and decide it should be more complex to cope? everything is in a constant state of decay.

Prayer will cure something worse than Aids or Cancer. It will cure the broken relationship we all have with God. Jesus is the answer.

Science, prayers won't help.

I didn't know we needed love, tears. saddness, excitment, doubt, ect. to survive. Weird.

If you have common sense you will totally dismiss the stories in the bible.

If your 64 your science teacher and your priest likely taught you the same thing. Try again. You seem to be an incredibly uneducated advocate for your cause. The man of common sense learns both. The two are neither perfect as both are transcribed by men. In I955 I believe you were taught that dinosaurs were reptiles and oil was the remains of said reptiles. At that time I think they were still teaching that the American Indians and African native were lower on the evolutionary tree.Darwin was still an authority and half of the finds were hoaxes and the other half were miscategorized. If you are 64 you of all people should know that the wisdom of the day is just that of the day. Almost everything you were taught was wrong by today's wisdom. Tomorrows will rewrite today's and and all will be swept under the rug as if they had not professed the fallacies to b truth. Science would have us forget that it re writes itself continuously and no truth is truth only truth of the moment.

Cure diseases. They you will be loved by all. You will be your own god.

Well, hello. I am a 62 year old cute girl. Science and the bible can exist together and it does. The earth and heavens were created millions or billions of years ago. The bible does not say when. The earth was already in existence when God began to get it ready for humans. Each creative day was a time period. Not a literal 24 hour day. Since the bible does not say the seventh day has ended, we must still be in the seventh time period. According to the bible geneology, Adam was created in the year 4027 BC. Add to that the current year of 2007 plus one year because there was no zero year and you get 6035 years. That is how long the seventh creative day has been going on and it makes sense that the previous six days were just as long.

You are fooling nobody, you've already made your choice, but its a faulty one;
If some preacher told you that the earth was made in 6 days, he lied to you. If he said we are all from Adam and Eve, again, he lied to you.
There is no controversy between the truth of Gods Word and true Science.
The problem is that there are people on both sides of this issue who both have no knowledge.
People are the problem, not the Scriptures, and certainly not the Science.
The Bible states that this earth is eons and eons old; in fact, it states that there was an entire earth age before this one;
you can read of all three earth ages in Second Peter.
You have to sail your own ship, so I'll leave my comment there.

The Bible is not all literal. Many parts of it are metaphorical or written in a way that people who lived thousands of years ago can understand. Just because God exists and created the world in 6 days it doesnt mean that "days" can't mean stages or 6000 years, since "a day for the lord is a thousand years for you" (not the exact wording but almost). God may have used evolution to finally create humans. Remember, the Bible talks about many things such as the rainbow being a sign that there will be no more world floods. Even if it is true it doesn't mean that there also cannot be a scientific explanation at the same time that is also true.

So in other words believe in God but complete your science tests properly, answer scientifically and go find those cures for us.
