Why would the S. Koreans want to clone cats that glow in the dark?

I saw a video on this online the other day. Pure white long haired cloned cats that when put under ultraviolet light glowed in the dark. What purpose is this for? Man in his arrogance playing God again? Wouldn't finding a cure for cancer or AIDS, etc. be a better game plan?

I haven't heard of this - but it's probably is research to help in someway for helping us and others with life threatening deceases to live our lives much better and hopefully longer.

Are you kidding me? It was feline stem cell research that was geared toward finding a cure for diseases like the ones you mentioned above. The fact that the kittens now "glow in the dark" (actually only under UV) was a side affect and not the original intent of the research. Maybe it's just you making arrogant assumptions about man playing God.

The same reason that rednecks hunt deer with spotlights; to fill the freezer with free meat.

Obviously it will help mapping DNA, this will help them diagnose and cure diseases in the future.

It's a first step in a very long process to do just that! They are developing genetic transplantation techniques to be used to cure all diseases. Maybe you should read the entire article instead of basing your opinions on a news blurb you obviously didn't comprehend!
