Yeast infections & yogurt?

I was compairing a plain yogurt and a strawberry yogurt at the grocery store. The difference between the two is miniscule. So why is it that plain yogurt is emphasized in aiding us to cure yeast infections? Will flavored ones not work for some reason?

The difference between yogurts is the amount of sugar or sweetening. Yeasts live on sugars. Acidophiles bacteria live on the by-products of fiber. Fiber may be as important as anything else. Avoid sugars. Eat fiber.

flavored ones work too. i ate flavored when i had a yeast infection and it helped get rid of it

The only difference is the obvious! The flavored ones have added flavoing & sugar. This shouldnt make any difference to helping yeast infections clear.

Why the hell would you want a flavored one in the first place? No one is going to want to eat yogurt from there anyways ESPECIALLY since you have a yeast infection....just go buy monistat
