Scientists and doctors?

We have learned so much, and developed so many good things in the last century. Why have we not made a cure for cancer, aids, alzheimer's , heart disease, and such. I hear rumers that there is a cure for cancer and aids but the government will not let it come out to control population, but I do not by that. Is it because of money, lack of it? any comments

I do not by into the conspiarcy theory. I just think that if our country spent more effort on the cures we need as we do trying to run other things, we would get more cures. I think we should try to get all the scientists we can from every country in the world and put them into one big think tank so they could pull there minds together and research for cures and I bet that we would get some really great treatments and cures much faster. I truely believe that the United States is the best place to live and is the best, but we can always make things better. my two cents worth

thats truly insane. for one thing cancer is not one disease, each sort of cancer of each organ is a different sort of disease with different properties and different causes and different treatments, they just found out a vaccine for one sort of female cancer, and thats getting treated, plus they have much better treatments than they did for many of the cancers.I am a 20 year survivor and if i had my treatment now, i likely would still have my female organs instead of having to lose them to the disease. and it was started by another disease they didnt know much about back then, endometriosis, i went for 15 years with that untreated because they didnt know what to do with it, they didnt even identify it until it had turned to cancer. heart disease, mostly can be cured, by not eating a lot of junk and making yourself into a fat slob, but thats people who refuse to stop eating junk not medicine not curing it, but they still do much better these days than 20 yrs ago. aids cant be cured but it can be treated with much better success than when it first reared its ugly head, the government cant profit from any of this, it costs the government millions in medicare, if people were cured they wouldnt be running out of medicare money all the time, altzhimers is also getting better, they can extend a persons good years on it . i get so sick of the people who buy into conspiricy theories because they have nothing better to do, sad empty lives.

I doubt the government didnt release the cure to control population, a better conspiarcy theory would be for business. Finding a cure would mean alot of businesses that cancer patients attend would close down! BUT i dont believe in such conspiracy theories.

The reason why we havent found a cure for cancer and aids is simply because we are still very immature. It is true that we discovered the flow of charges round a conductor and hence electricity and derived such amazing things from it like the internet and devices used in hospitals... But unfortunatly theres alot that we still don't know.
