What about miracle healings? Are they for real? What about demon possession? Is that real? How can you tell?

What I have heard is that many healings are the result of a demon or demons. Most if not all mental health issues are, too. I have heard of people who were unable to move with a real medical issue get up and walk after prayer. I have heard people cured of AIDS and MS and other terminal illnesses. What is this about? Is it real? How can I tell?

I am not talking about the devil healing people although the bible says he will be able to. I am asking if the healings and deliverances are real and has anyone seen it? How do the demon come out? What do they look like?

It is real

Virtually all "Faith Healers" that have been examined by scientists, have been found to be frauds. There is no evidence that anyone has been cured of AIDS by prayer.

Yes, but not in the spotlight. I have seen a crowd turn as one, from happy to raging. I have seen men go hellbent and spastic at the mention of Christ. But, in nice american cities...it is not as apparent as in 3rd world countries

Let's assume demons do exist, and they can posess someone / cripple them. Let's also state that these so called "miracle healings" are not from God. Demons can "act" like they are being cast out, during prayer rituals, seances, etc... with the sole purpose to lure people away from the true God, who doesn't like a bit of what is going on!

Yes it is very real. I am a faith healer. It is one of the gifts of the Holy Ghost. Be warned Satan can heal also. The Bible talks about this. B/c we are in the last days it will become more prevalent on both sides. Satans goal is to deceive the world and deceive he has.

Remember the Legion went into the pigs. Pigs, according to God, are unclean. We, as humans, are unclean until God makes us clean with the Blood of Jesus when we accept Jesus as our King and Lord and Saviour.
When people are in sin, they are open to the devil and his demons. Sin opens the door, demons walk in. When you accept Jesus and repent and ask for forgiveness, the demons' "legal rights" are canceled. They do not leave though. Example: You have sex outside of marriage. You catch herpes. You repent. Herpes doesn't go away. You have canceled Herpes' "legal rights" to you but it won't leave. How do you get rid of Herpes when medicine can't cure it? God allows you to cast out devils (Mark 16:17). Disease is of the Devil. Healing take place after the demons are removed to repair the damage that has been done. Medicine as well as Psychology is about symptoms. Medicines address the symptoms. Very few meds cure an illness. You body fights the illness. Illness is not of God and is usually caused by demons.

Faith is the substance of things hoped for and the evidence of things not seen.

Without faith, it is impossible to please God.

Faith and the Word of God are involved in healing and deliverance.

healing is demonic ? lol why would they do this

if there are factual stories and testimonies about healing , then isnt that amazing ?
why do we have to bring it down

although as a spiritualist i always see hypocrisy here with this subject though
if it is healing done in the name of Jesus then everyone is shouting it from the rooftops as a miracle
if it is done by a spiritualist ... then it is of satan

It is all in the mind > All the answers come from within if someone believes strongly enough that he or she can be healed by a certian type of Mircle then it is totally possible.

The only way to be certain for yourself is to get involved. Find a church near you with a viable healing ministry. Take someone you know to be really ill. Take them for healing services until they are healed.

There are fakers out there. No doubt. But the real deal is out there too. Find them.

Satan was and is here to kill steal and destroy. Jesus came that we should have life and have it more abundantly. Why would satan heal, or send demons to heal? Jesus took stripes (Isa) for our healing.

I have seen, in my walk healings, and deliverances, that could only be supernatural. I give all glory to God. What a smack to his face, for me to say that it was from satan.

I don't know about the miracle healings. I don't personally believe it. I really don't believe those people on television shoving your forehead are for real. I do believe in prayer though. As far as demon possession, I had a conversation with a missionary about this a little over a year ago. He said he has seen it in other countries. My idea is that Satan has other outlets to expose evil in larger, media friendly, countries like television, music, ect. In the smaller, third world countries, this outlet is not there so possession happens there.

That's just my take on it.

well, I can not tell you if its real,But I beleave GOD is the only one that performs Miracales,but that does Not mean he will not go threw you to perform the miracale!The older I get,The stronger my faith gets because of the Small miracales God has performed in my life and because of how many times Jesues saved me from death!Amen,God bless!Hollywood

I believe that it all about your mind. Your mind and your beliefs are an astounding assest in any particular situation. I dont believe in any Miracle Dr.'s. I think that you have to want to be or you wont be.

There are no such things as demon possession. I think that it is like bi-polar. Someone was smart enough to figure out that they can act like an "***" and blame it on something. You are responsible for your actions. If you have to make excuses becuz you are ashamed; you need to re-evalute yourself immediately.

healings through faith in the Lord are too many to count, look up Lourdes on the web,as for possessions they are really very rare,
more common is oppression by evil spirits which act on someone without entering them,and this is the cause of much of the symptoms of mental disorder, but not all of them.

I don't believe in any of that. Just because we don't know why some things happen, doesn't mean they happen for such magic reasons...

When you say that healing are caused by daemons you are giving a non living inferior spirit to much credit. Daemons dont have the power to do such things. you can find this in the bible. Also I do believe that a person can be healed through faith. If you look at the book of Job job was sick his family was killed and because of his faith in God he was cured. Now when I say this I dont mean that by praying once you will be ok. God works in mysterious ways and sometimes it is just time for certain people to join him. Our health issues are mostly caused by our own emotional states. Have you come across readings about "quantum" healing?
I really recommend a book written by a medical doctor, Dr. Deepak Chopra on "Quantum Healing".

THe devil has ALWAYS duplicated God. Since the beginning of time. God had angels, the devils angels are demons. Healing services are REAL! I have seen with my eyes perform signs, miracles and wonders, but the enemy (devil) will try to duplicate what God does, and tries to distort and pervert things. Sometimes people will have demonic possessions and never know it. Study and Pray! Educate yourself.

Divine healings have nothing to do with the devil or his demons. A kingdom divided against itself will fall. Sickness, diseases and the like are from the devil. Why would he heal something he had done to begin with? That woud contradict him and his purposes. Miracle healings are healings in which they cannot be explained either in the medical field or common knowledge of the thing. There is no explanation for it. It just divinely happen.Miracle healings are from God. Yes they are for real. Let me explain something if I can. Every last one of us on a daily basis have different organisms living in our own bodies that if it were not for the goodness of God could rise up and kill us instantly. But God....... Who is rich in mercy and grace keeps the devil(who would want to kill us) at bay and does not allow him to harm us. Remember God says that He wishes above all else that we prosper and be in good health, even as our soul prospers. Demon possession, unfortunately is real as well. There is no clear cut way to tell if someone is demon possessed unless God gives you that discerning spirit. That is one of the reasons why the Word of God says that man ought always to pray and not faint. If it were not God, on any given day, the devil would love nothing better to afflict us in any way. I don;t believe it is I believe many of these people have been misdiagnosed by doctors.

There is a percentage of patients who's symptoms mimic a variety of illness and doctors find the one that is closes to what the patient says he has.

Thus most often people who are cured are people that doctors don;t know what they have but they want to treat the patient for something

You know prayer is very powerful thing..It helps some . and not others..

But in my view GOD has trained and guided many women and men to be great doctors . To HEAL those who need more than a prayer. I do not believe that illness and mental illness are the result of demonic possession... because there is scientific proof of these illnesses. Its sounds kinda midevil don't you think. some one is sick because they are possesed . everyone would be having exorcisims .. and there would be no more medical doctors. that sounds odd dont you think . really ..
Sometimes it would be nice if it was that easy.
I think that one in a million are the people that you see maybe cured from an illness... but no more than that.
I would not believe it . . . not unless you have scientific proof.
