Okay so same question a bit different?

Right before anybody even knew Gary Glitter was a peedo he was in the charts and everything so people must had thought his music was good else wise they would not have brought his records. So how come the minute he got busted everyone says his music was crap seeing as they was quick enough to buy his music before that? Its like the minute someone gets sussed for being a peedo there music suddenly turns to crap and nobody admits they ever liked it.

So them what if say some geezer who invents something great like a cure for AIDS of something but he turns out to be a peedo to? That don't make the medicine bad and you would not here people saying not to use it. How come people get what somebody does mixed up with what somebody does wrong like that?

It is that old guilt trip thing. Where people are all full of support for a person whilst they are popular and thier faults are overlooked. Then something will come out that blemished that image and suddenly the hypocrites try and turncoat and claim they 'never liked that person' for fear that admitting they liked them will them pedo!

his music sold because it was simple and catchy and the probably the best there was at the time says a lot for the other music of that era.
