Does anyone know the name of this movie?

Its about a little boy who has aids. Theres an older boy in the movie and he lives next door to the little boy who has aids. The big kid gradually starts to like the little one and they become friends. The big kids dad lives down south and his mother who he lives with is an alcoholic. The big boy and the little boy heard there was a cure for aids down south so they decide to run away.
Thats all I remember from the movie but i really need the name of it!

The movie is the 1995 "The Cure" starring Joseph Mazzello as Dexter (the kid with AIDS) and Brad Renfro as Erik, his neighbor.
