Society does not realize that we balance on a few very thin pillars, one being Homosexuality/Bisexuality....?

If we were to successfully cure cancer, AIDS, and other diseases within the continental USA (for example), our populations rates would dramatically increase. Diseases are one of these pillars I mentioned, if we remove that pillar, only around 3 or so are left, mostly being: infertility, the not wanting of kids, and homosexuality/bisexuality. And we need to realize how truly important these are. If we found ways to stop these, and we are, I would argue we would collapse due to overpopulation and its effects. Unlike in animals, nothing controls the human population except nature. Diseases, natural disasters, infertility, and homosexuality are population controllers, regardless of whether or not that was their originally intended purpose, if they have one. And as a society we need to acknowledge the importance of especially the latter, since they are positives (infertility being debatable), and especially if we want to cure cancer, AIDS, etc.

Your thoughts?

I should add that natural disasters, despite being negative, might also be a pillar of importance, but again, we are finding solutions around these population controllers.

If only people were more frequent in their looking outside the box. You're 100% correct. the world we be completely off balance and there wouldn't be room for all of us.

If the eliminate all of our population control methods they better hurry up with the building of the inter galactic space colonies.

I agree. But I don't know how much it would really slow down population growth since only so many people are gay. Now, I believe there are more bisexuals so if you removed the stigma of same-sex love, that could put more of a dent in the population growth.

I'm sure God has a purpose in creating gay people. I think we are here to assist our families in child rearing and also to adopt and help raise unwanted children. Either aspect would help guarantee the survival of the species which could be what God had in mind.
