How may food servers would like one minute?

to say what ya really want? not a cure for cancer, not a cure for aids, not a cure for world hunger not a cure for unrest in the world.....................It's ONLY FOOD........get over it!!

I have been in this line of work my whole life, and indeed have never been rude to a costomer.............just more or less a fantasy, based on the fact that .......Hey it's only food!

I'm always nice to the people that serve my food because they are indeed bringing your food. I don't get the people who are rude to any person who is a server or to anyone in retail for that matter. I work in retail, and I usually tell rude people that they are being rude. It takes alot to say it in a way that makes them feel bad.


Edit: Yeah, I know that fantasy. I may try to kill customers with kindness but half the time I'd love to slap some sense and manners into them. I'm sure you know what I mean. =)

I understand that it must really suck sometimes. But try to put yourself in the customer's shoes. We are tired of being disappointed at your restaurant. (I say that because all restaurants are disappointing these days.) It's expensive. We want to treat ourselves to a nice meal and a nice time, and it's a bummer when it doesn't come out right.
