What Are Diseases For, Like AIDS?

I heard that they were a human population controler. That's why no one try's to find cures for some diseases

i never said aids directly, i said some deseases

HIV, the virus that causes AIDS, and the disease itself, are so numerous and so diverse that it is extremely difficult to find a cure. However, they are trying.

There are medications available to help those with HIV/AIDS and there are many programs that assist with prevention, prolonging of life, coping and hope, not to mention medications, housing and support.

There are a great many diseases that have no cure in this world. It is not a matter of population control...it is a matter of sin. When sin entered the world, death and disease did as well.

The one thing that must be taught is prevention. HIV spreads so quickly and easily mainly because people refuse to get tested, use protection or practice abstinence. If the world could learn about prevention and actually live a preventive life, HIV would eventually fade away.

Be proactive.

I dont understand the question...Oh...thats cuz there isnt one. I'm sure ppl are trying 2 find cures honey, perhaps it cuz they continue 2 be unsuccssesful thats y we dont hear about them

Lol. Yes, they do help control human population, albeit naturally. I think the research community at large, however, would be shocked and a little irritated to hear that they aren't trying to find cures.

ARE YOU OUT OF YOUR MIND!! my friends dad is a doctor and he works every day of his life to find a cure for AIDS, people try to find cures for diseases every day, how old are you........like 3?

Yep..God is just sitting on a cloud looking down at China thinking..hhmm too many people in China today. Think I'll give some of them SARS! No way.. diseases are horrible and some diseases people get are because of their own actions. Though most are uncontrollable.

many people are trying to find cures for AIDS its just that the virus evolves too fast and is hard to control it and that is why cures have not been found yet
I dont think its a population controller because more than half of the population in certain regions in Africa suffer from AIDS and that means a generation could be extinct
Also the disease is so easy to spread that it could cause extinction so i think that is why so many states in the US are trying to prevent from further spread by recommanding education in school about it

although you do have a point about controlling population (i mean people are going to eventually die and in order to make room for new life others have to be lost) but i dont think that is why there is still no cure for AIDS

Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome is a mutinous virus. Once it enters your blood stream it mutats which is why it is very difficult to cure. Example imagine someone came into America from Canada and bought a cell phone and each day that person changed their number so that you couldn't get hold of them and then each day they moved to another town. that is essentially what the AIDS virus does to the human body. It changes itself so researchers have a very tough time finding a vaccine that will also seek out this virus that changes it appearance

Most diseases are either viral (like AIDS) or bacterial (like bronchitis). Both viruses and bacteria are living cells and which multiply and die just like all living plants and animals. So your question is similar to asking "what are Plants for? " which I feel is a fairly pointless question.

Some diseases have the effect of reducing population by causing death or infertility, but that is simply a result of rather than the reason for the disease. Not all diseases control population, many are benign, and some are benificial as vaccines (eg cow pox as a vaccine for smallpox).

honestly there r things that the gov would rather the ppl not noe so im gonna say all the stuff they don want u 2 noe. a. the aids epidemic was purposefully sppread when europeans came to africa and spread it amongst them, so it could be used as a populatiuon control. b. now they R tryin to find the cure bcuz its killin toooo many ppl, black, white, puerto rican...everybody...n everyone noes it will onlee get worst

There is a "war" continually going on between every living creature on the planet. Each trying desperately using any trick it can to survive and multiply. Some diseases that we contract are the result of these battles. The strongest amongst us survive.

Millions of dollars all over the world go into research but to find cures it costs millions more than the researchers get and when you are researching you need to be concentrated on what you are doing not whether your funding will be cut if you dont produce a result yesterday, in short we dont have enough funding to support the work ppl need to do.
The again for every virus/disease they find a cure or vacination for another as in the case of the flu seems to mutate to require somthing different maybe its to help with natural selection but I dont know, I do think in general we are over medicated especially in the western world and so our bodies themselves do not learn to fight basic stuff so our resilience to more difficult diseases do noy occur and Im talking about general stuff. We need to look at how we live, what we eat and the stressors in our lives and go back to more natural ways of eating, plenty of water and exercise to help our bodies develop basic resistence.

That is a good question but to ask what they are for is a little inappropriate. ( With all due respect) I guess the only way to some this up for me is to say the bible states that, IF MY PEOPLE WHO ARE CALLED BY MY NAME WILL HUMBLE THEMSELVES AND PRAY, TURN FROM THERE WICKET WAYS SEEK MY FACE (CHRIST) THEN I WILL HEAR FROM HEAVEN AND HEAL THE LAND.

If you pray to God and give yourself over to Christ you will never get sick. Disease is to control the heathen population and the only cure we will ever need will flow From God.
