When you are pregnant with child, did you know these 2 things?

1. the soon-to-be baby didnt ASK to be concieved.
2. since you conjured this innocent one to begin the human forming process, you must give him/her free room/board and food

And if you were irresponsible while having sex, the mature thing to do would be to grow up and take care of the innocent baby.

If you are in the under 2% range of women in America who abort because they were raped, you can put the baby up for adoption.

Because who knows? maybe this kid could cure aids or cancer one day? abortion would mean you have killed many more innocent ppl in doing so. so think about this everyone who is pro-abortion AND pro-choice :)

Well its not your body so it doesn't matter what you want. If a woman does not want a child then she has the right to abort it before its birth. As far as I'm concerned, she has more rights then a thing that has not proved any worth.

Any one contemplating having an abortion should do one thing first. Have a sonogram done so you can see the humanity of your baby.

I agree, pro choice is the sensible way to go. What if the woman CAN'T take care of her baby? Suppose there would be risk to both mother and child if she tried to have it? People make mistakes, you know... maybe the child didn't ask for it, but there are too many parents that are not responsible--would it be morally correct to raise a child when you know it won't have a good childhood and may be scarred it's entire life? I think adoption may be the best in that scenerio, but there are cases where the abortion would be the only sensible option.

As much as I hate the thought of abortion, it is not my place to judge those who have them. I am not in there shoes, so I don't know their individuals situation. We should not judge. Save that for God.

Americans have murdered 40,000,000 babies. Once a Dr. was perfoming an abortion live on t.v. and the baby he was trying to kill was running away from the instuments that he was trying to kill it with. Needless to say after the Dr. caught a glemps at what he was doing, he never perfomed another abortion again. I had an abortion when I was a teenager. When I came to the Lord I realized what I had done. I commited murder. I murdered my own child. I know that God forgives me, but it has been really hard to forgive myself. I think of my child all the time. He or she would have been 9 in June. I pray that other women don't make the same mistake as I did. At conception it is a living soul. By the time you are aware that you are pregnant the baby has a heart and it's major organs are forming. I was 9 weeks pregnant and my baby had limbs, a heartbeat, and most of all a soul.

Just because I'm not comfortable with the idea of abortion myself DOES NOT mean I want someone ELSE telling me what to do with my reproductive organs.

You've obviously never been in any of the situations you've just described, so please quit the pretentious self-righteousness and mind your own business.

did you think of the mother? What if she was raped? Or what if she's too young? What if she cant take care of the baby financially and he/she will grow up stealing, doing drugs or murdering people? What about the women who kill their children? and as far as being responsible during intercourse, accidents do happen. Don't judge other people, without knowing their situation

Better a dead fetus than a child who has to live a life of being beaten,molested,scarred because their parents resented them and then turned out into society an emotionally crippled person.Did you know that Almost every single serial killer and mass murderer admitted to being abused as a child?

... If I am raped, then having that baby would be therapeutic for me, I think. Having the baby would be something I could do to have good come from the experience. I don't think I could raise the child, though.

... If I were simply to become pregnant by accident, and there was no reason to think that there was anything wrong, then there's no way I could have an abortion, and at this point in life, I wouldn't give my child away either. I'm old enough and stable enough now to be a good mother.

... If I were pregnant, and my life was in *grave* danger, then I would consider an abortion. It would depend on the circumstances, and I would have to be fully informed and convinced of the danger. Even then, I can't say what I'd do until I were in that situation.

Hi everyone,I believe it is the choice which the lady makes considering the options she has.One cannot say what ones circumstances lead to.
I was anti abortion for a long time especially after seeing a 3 &1/2 month fully formed baby, blue, gasping and trying to survive the chilly environment of the theatre after a hysterotomy. Its amazing at the difference in handling the same life at 3 months and at 9 months. One feels more so lookin at couples at the infertility clinics...
But to a pregnant lady that isn't what matters. It's her life against that of the child.She has to carry the child she does not want for 9 months/ whole of her lifetime. We cannot put up with our troubles for a day, what to say for 9 months and a lifetime? Further if she lives in a hostile environment with lack of financial and emotional support.. very few will decide to brave it out.We can't really expect them to sacrifice their happiness for the sake of the child or for that matter the world...

I believe it should be legal to have an abortion up until the child gets a full time job, or leaves for college.

Having said that, all the self righteous people in the world need to worry about themselves. You have no control over what another human being does with her body so why waste your time worrying about it. Who gives you the right to judge others?
