Why don't the government people cure some of these ills first?

Internal government corruption, homelessness, aids, cancer, roads, schools, innocent in jails and prisons, tax rates smothering small business and much more. All the while agreeing on the stripping of our personal liberties. Why do they not tackle issues that may help Americans more than Geese restrictions, smoking on a street corner restrictions etc.
In the history of mankind there has usually been a time in every society where a small group of self declared "special people" starts whittling away at the lives of the public in the name of this or that and it has always ended up being too much control and terrible long term results. Are we there?.

because it's trying to hide that those issues need addressing. It's trying to project the image that America is Perfect and always right, even though that may not be the case

Why wait for the Government to fix it, they don't know how and neither do they care.We as individuals must do our part. Help those inocent people bust out of jail. And just stop paying tax. Waiting for the Government to fix these problems is not the answer. For sure. Some are finally waking up and seeing the scales have been tipped while we were sleeping.
Only these "special elite" are in politics, corporations and hollywood with their spoiled bad children causing havoc and corrupting the rest of the regular joe's.
Then getting you to sue your brother over ignorant stuff.
This may be worse than the German beast if we are not careful. When people begin to beleive they are holier than everyone else we get into much trouble. But we continue to do this. I for one am staying out of it less I be manipulated.
