AIDS is incurable?

some people say there is a cure, but im not sure

As of now, there is none. There are many treatments to slow down the progression of the disease as such that it is now possible to live a full life for for a long time.

yes, it is very much so incurable. But research is so close to finding one that in like 5 or 10 years you can get cured. God bless the scientist who does discover the cure(hey, that sounds like Xmen 3:)).

There is no cure right now. They are working on it. There are drugs that can greatly extend a person's life and make their life more pleasurable than it would be without the drugs.

Here's a great article about AIDS in Africa and allthe myths surrounding it:

Good luck! :)

It is incurable. There are steps and meds to take to ease the process, but there is no cure yet. I wish there was.

I've heard doctors are working on a possible cure, but there is a lot of red tape--it is still in a dangerous state, and they're weighing out pros and cons, so the FDA won't let them release it yet. I hope they've got it.

doctors are workind on a cure but there is not one

There's no cure at this time.

I have been a part of the HIV/AIDS community for about ten years now. I have volunteered and taken classes, so trust me when I say there is no cure and there most likely not be one in our lifetime. On the other hand researchers and doctors have perfected the meds that are out there that can stop a HIV cell from connecting, stop the process from RNA to DNA, stop the entire process to DNA (making it impossible of the cell to infect other clean cells), and stoping a new virus from being released into the body. So 4 different groups of meds that help those infected

the view right now is that we wont see a cure in our lifetime but we might possibly see a vaccination in this lifetime.
