Do you think that it was not meant for us to know if we were created by God or we just evolved? |
we will all find out when we die and only then,,,,why do we waste so much time debating it....does it really matter...death is inevitible either way....whether we came from God or apes ora fish....so why worry about it and use the time researching a cure for cancer....or helping find aids cures.....etc "so why worry about it and use the time researching a cure for cancer....or helping find aids cures.....etc" It was meant for us to know and it matters. *applauds* so very very true How do you not find the origin of life fascinating? You don't care how we got here? It's interesting if you look into it. ponder upon your current existence, understand this I actually think there is a way both of those ideas fit together. Haven't got all of the answers--just a theory--like the others, but it's possible. Evolutionary theory is actually pretty important in terms of finding cures for diseases like cancer and AIDS so it's crucial that we have as accurate a theory as possible. That's why we need to debate it: to discover which parts of the theory are problematic and excise them. Evolution is a fact. Sounds good to me. But, I don't think we are going to find out anything after we are dead. And, that's fine. After a life full of struggles, a nice long rest sounds good. Your salvation certainly doesn't hang on how you answer the question, but how you see humanity, and how you choose to act toward your fellow humans certainly does. It's important. I don't understand what all the debate is about. Yes, it's the way God intended it. Faith, faith, faith. Well, those scientists that I mentioned. The ones who don't believe in creationism? They are trying to find a cure for cancer... amongst other things. we know we evolved, well some of us who are not committed to bronze age myths know it. whether we were meant to know it or not is irrelevant. perhaps god set up all the dominoes and gave them a push, who could tell? i don't think that part matters, for sure. If we were "not meant to know", then we wouldn't see so much evidence of evolution. There's no "debate" whether or not evolution happened, just the specific mechanics of it. Listen to yourself. On the one hand, you're saying it's a waste of time to study how the world works. On the other hand, you're telling us to cure diseases. We were meant to know, because the inspired words describing how it all happened were revealed by God to prophets, Apostles & other men of God. It says in the Bible that God created the heavens & the earth. You are right. The only thing in the middle of this road, young lady, is a yellow line and a dead skunk. |
