HIV is their a cure or even close to a cure?

do anyone truly think theirs a cure for hiv/aids...and magic johnson as had hiv for about 15 years now i think probably even more and u never once heard about him getting sick hes looks completly heathy..maybe im just parniod and the man takes good care of his self but i have seen ppl like that and they are droping like flies...
one more thing....if u drain all the blood out of a person and some how give them a whole blood transplant thing couldnt that cure it or at least decrease it idk....
anyone understand what i am trying to say

damn right government isn't going to give it up u know how much money they would lose how many people would lose their jobs it would be an epidemic..ppl wouldn't give a lovely u know what if they didn't have stuff like aids out...stds forces ppl to think b4 they have sex..makes them be more careful

Im sure there is a cure but the fda has to approve the drug for public consumotion and there must be some side effect or something that they consider 2 harsh to allow its realease.There are many drugs used to prolong a persons life with hive but no cures.And the blood transfustion thing is a good idea, but they would have to totaly drain u and u would die and even then the virus would still be present in other cell form.

There is no cure for HIV. HIV is still a death sentence, it is just that the date of death is now a decade or two instead of a few years. All the drugs that are used simply try to keep the infection under control. Also, the virus infects tissues other than the blood, so even replacing all of a person's blood would not help.

First of all a blood transplant is not going to work. They tried doing that in the early days of the discovery of the disease. There is NO CURE for HIV/AIDS; however, there are medications out there which make the virus virtually undetectable in the human body. However, there is not cure t this time.

The HIV virus hides in the lymph system. It cannot yet be eradicated; but they are trying different drugs to help.

u cant drain all of ur blood out to cure aids, for one because its impractical and two for the majority of an HIV infection it exists in lymph nodes and other immune system structures
