They hate him because the media tells them to hate him. They cannot think of a single coherent reason for the dislike.

The media dislikes Bush because he holds them in total disregard and disdain. Bush was the first President to totally ignore and marginalize the media and he is paying the price. The media ran the campaigns against the GOP in 2006 and they are running the anti-Bush campaigns now.
