Bush once again vetoed a bill that could save millions of lives and cure terminal illnesses. Why is he hateful |
Bush veto'd the stem cell bill life protecting Democrats put together to help find cures to AIDS, Cancer, Immune Issues, even ways to help grow an organ to be transplanted in a patient thats been on a waiting list for years. sad day for all, some just don't know it yet. Because he is in bed with the pharmaceutical companies. A lot of those claims are pretty far off in the future, but, yes, he is putting the USA behind the rest of the world in an important scientific field by sticking to his pro-life agenda. Because it's a belief he has - without proof, without evidence, without rationality. And he claims it's "science over ideology" I could barf. Because he knows that he didn't block anything!! The problem is we have mixed church and state. That was never supposed to happen, but political decisions are being made by him on religious grounds. And notice that not all religions agree with him on this, just the conservative ones he depends on for his votes. Fine. Let religion establish itself as an enemy of science and of health. Hopefully millions will walk away from their churches, from the superstitious nonsense of religion. At the very least, Americans will have to suffer for their stupidity in ever letting bush become president. You make it sound more promising than it is, but I'll give you the points you make. There is no law on the books against private firms experimenting with stem cell research. Bush only opposes government funding of stem cell research. It is not as if there is no stem-cell research going on through private grants and trusts,, oh and the drug companies you libs hate so much are paying heavily for this research. Their is stem cell research is going on right now out of america but no successfull results. I think he is more stupid than hateful. He doesn't realize where stem cells come from. He doesn't read and rarely uses his brain so it has to be he is just stupid. He actually thinks he has personal conversations with GOD. If he were truly talking to GOD wouldn't he tell him how stupid he has been? nothing more than speculation on your part. according to everything I hear embryonic stem cell research has been very unproductive. You know our drug companies have expoloited US for years. Given the opportunity stem cells are at risk . Legally. maybe he is right for the time being until all the details are worked out. TY He's throwing the U.S. light years behind other countries First of all, he isn't hateful, he just doesn't believe in using aborted fetuses. because hes a dumb ***, please dont tell me that everyone hasnt relized this already, and by the way texas doesnt want him back they voted him in so he would leave here. He truly wants the US to return to the Dark Ages of Medieval Europe! First off he's already started his crusade in the Middle East! Uh, excuse me. PLZ read the U.S. Constitution and locate exactly where it authorizes using the public treasury to fund scientific research. he was bought off by lobbist Learn the difference between embryonic stem cells and adult stem cells . There you will find the answer to your question. President Bush knew what he was doing. i think he figures 4 the organ stuff, we can always do transplants. but for other stuff like AIDS, cancer, etc.. i don't know what he thinks. Please get your facts somewhat straight before you start your tirade. Embryonic stem cells have not proven useful in any testing but adult stem cells have. Bush is only against embryonic stem cell testing but is in favor of the use of adult stem cells that have proven to aid in fighting such diseases as diabetes. Here is a lesson for you. First, he did not veto a stem cell bill, he vetoed an embryonic stem-cell bill. This is a common mistake for liberals who want to blur the line on what is acceptable and what is not. This technique is similar to saying "immigrant" instead of "illegal immigrant." you make the government out as the boogy man. why should the government even be in the research buisness anyway? the government is into our lives much to far as it is. when the presidential candidates are going to spend around 100 million dollars each to try and become president i think that that mone;y could be used better on research items instead of being used to irriatate people with all the junk ads on tv and the radio. our congress people are over paid whimps so why don't they kick in some of their millions that probably they came by in some shady manner. it is time to get the govenment out of our pockets and spend it wisely. besides i haven't heard of one desease that has been erradicated in the ten plus years that this research has been going on. if you can name one desease that stem cell research has erradicated i will yeild to you. After decades of research all that has been produced from embryonic stem cell research are cancerous tumors and deformities. Have pride in your nation. Be thankful for the things you have in your life. "Feel, don't think, use your instincts."--Obi-Wan Kenobi(Starwars) You call him hateful because he believes the fetus you would kill to get embryonic stem cells is a living person. Obviously you do not; but he does. That is not hateful; it is a different opinion. Call it because his "religous" beliefs all you want but its far deeper then religion. Bush also advanced spending for stem cell research that does not require the killing of a human being to get. No mention of that in your rant. Shameful. So you have to kill humans to save them? And you call Bush hateful? Pot, meet Kettle. There are enough stem cells to do necessary research. As this world embarks on the final path the last thing we need is more gene alterations. Scientist always try to gain their way by twisting facts. Lucky Bush has the guts to stand up for what is right. We all know the libs will approve anything that takes away from morality. |
