How much is developing the cure for cancer?

How much, in your opinion, is developing of such cure?
At least, is 1 milliard of Euro enough?
And what about the cure for AIDS?

Cancer is such a various group of ailments that it's virtually impossible to estimate how many milliards of Euro it will take to cure. 1 milliard of Euros is not enough.

One milliard of Euro will probably cure AIDS.

Im sure that much money and more have been poured into research for developing cures just in the last couple of years. diseases such as cancer and AIDS are so complex that you not only need tons of money but also time. im sure a cure will come someday

Billions have been spent to cure both cancer and AIDS. Some of the money has been for direct cures, some to treat and manage the disease. I happen to be one who is both involved in the research, and managing my own metastatic Kidney Cancer.
