Is there a cure for HIV?

I reckon that there is a cure for HIV, it cannot be released on the market simply it'll be too expensive to afford one!! Remember that guy abut 6 mths who had aids, but cured himself. There must ne something against that disease.

Its a prefect business, as HIV patients can transcend to aids needing more of these medications, get out and come back eventually. Besides the economical impact, a cure for HIV is very difficult to develop, as the amazing rate that mutates makes very suitable to escape the effects of competitive inhibitors that bind to the enzymes that inhibit the functions HIV needs to replicate and survive. In one day HIV is capable of duplicating as much as 30,000 copies so you can see its ability to evolve is imply amazing. There are about 5 sub HIV types in the world, so a cure developed in the USA is highly unlikely to work on china. New approaches are taken nowadays with better results, for example, as of 2006 china has the world's first actually working vaccine against HIV. The trial was successful among a population of 800 humans.

It can be cured if treated within so much time of contracting it. Once it has dug itself it it's hard to get out because of how it works.

There is no cure for HIV. The case that you mentioned was not proven. No one has ever been actually cured of HIV or AIDS.

it is a cure but they wont make money if they bring the cure out, its all about the money if they bring the cure out everyone will be aids and hiv free.

There was an international conference on AIDS a couple of weeks ago. It seems as if AIDS researchers will try to help people now that Bill and Melinda Gates have gotten involved. You have to wonder what they did at all the other conferences.
" My hypothesis " is to slow the immune response after a reduction of viral load. Using this approach consistently for a period of time I would then use a vaccine ( even a non-specific one ) to help restore the immune system. I believe it would be possible to achieve an immunity to the virus even if some virus remains hiding within the body. This in essence would be a cure for HIV.
If the greatest AIDS researcher in the world doesn't want to try this approach then perhaps you will understand why there is such a problem finding cures for diseases.
Slowing down the immune response could be accomplished with peppermint oil lozenges. However, if you were to present this to a medical professional you should present them with the hypothesis of reduction of viral load then the use of an entry inhibitor.
Ask any AIDS researcher how alcohol works to reduce viral load. There was a researcher who was at the last AIDS conference who came up with the idea to use a vaccine ( even a non-specific one ) .
