What cure would the world be better of ?

If you were granted a wish to cure any disease, epedemic, or any health related illness. What would it be and why?

I would choose all types of cancer as it has taken a toll on some of my family.

I would also cure aids, but if it was left to pick between one , then i would pick a CURE for Cancer.

I am curious where the first responder got his stat from. LoL! The one about 180 years as an average lifespan.

I would pick Cancer. It's much harder to avoid getting cancer, even living in a clean environment (please account for all the people living in the jungle getting cancer) then HIV. If everyone practiced safe sex and not sharing needles then HIV would be wiped out completely in a generation. Cancer will always exist unless we find a cure.

most people have cancer because they neglect to take care of their bodies...

did u know that the average age for everyone (living in a clean enviroment) is 180 years old. but we just slowly poison our bodies with the stuff we put in.

some people are born with those and die early. not fair. they never had a chance.

besides, over 40% of the worlds population have it and only 10-20% of the world has cancer.

probably AIDS because if we knew how to cure aids sooo many other virus's would be just as easy to get rid of =\. And its easier to get aids and most people dont have a chance. you cant rape someone and give them cancer =\.

Multiple Sclerosis would be my first choice. My mother is living with this neurological disease and it is just insane what this does to someone.

i believe the statistics are that a child dies every 30 seconds from malaria. it cripples the economies of many tropical countries, particularly in africa, and is debilitating to the sufferers. if malaria were eradicated, the quality of life and economic development of many african countries would increase exponentially. much better to be well off and healthy than living in wretched conditions with horrendous fevers, night sweats, and seeing your children die after lingering in a coma.
