Would you rather see a cure for cancer or HIV/Aids? i know the two are sensitive issue but i just want to hear

your opinion and why your choice

I believe that these cures exists but due to money that can be made from research it will never come to light.
as for HIV/Aids I would like to see a cure but not the cure to give license for promicious sex to continue. As a gay man knowing those diseases are out there does keep me @ a certain level. however my religious convictions tell me to restrain from being a slut or ho.

As a matter of fact, I'm running a comparison program for several known protein kinase inhibitors right now. In between I play on answers and read.

HIV/AIDS because many times cancer can be treated with chemotherapy at the time

HIV/AIDS, because it in an infectious disease that a lot of people unknowingly get. It is passed onto children, unknowing sexual partners (sometimes even when protection is used), and it is virtually tearing apart entire nations and wiping out generations of poverty stricken people, leaving countless children with no parents. On top of that is it breeding a crime wave - adults raping children thinking it will cure them and plenty of other horrible things.
CANCER on the other hand, is a disease the last few generations have experienced. There is astounding research showing that doing simple things as taking nutritional supplements can as much as halve your chances of getting some cancers - and yet people still shun it. Same with eating a balanced diet and plenty of fruit and vegetables. On top of that a lot of cancers have environmental causes, not to mention the huge numbers of smokers that get cancer and die.
Now I'm definitely not saying if you get cancer it is your own fault...(my mother had a rather long battle with it herself and countless other people I know). What I'm saying is there are preventative measures to cancer and most people are not taking them or at least not taking them seriously. Along with preventatives there are also quite a few treatments that are working reasonably well at the moment.
To me personally I think HIV/AIDS is the more pressing of the 2, although I would love to see a day when there is a cure for both.

actually the alternatives for both are pretty much the same.
You have to get the PH balanced and get your body oxygenated with antioxidents, metabolized with amino acids, enzymes and........ so forth.

Both are already curable, the stuff is just locked up. I personally have a lot of experience healing people with alternative cancer therapies (ie. relatives), whereas I've never been in the position to help an AIDS patient, so I have no experience in the latter area. Although I know a doctor who has used ozone with a lot of sucess for aids so I do not doubt it could help.

I'm not sure which I'd rather have a cure for (assuming non existed). My guess is that it would be aids for 2 reasons;
The first is that the cure used for cancer is likely to be far more invasive and damaging (ie technically chemo is a "cure" but it kills the body in the process).
The second is that all these STDs running around make it a lot harder to have unprotected sex and the world would be cooler if you could do that again liberally like it was in the 60s.

I don't know which disease is more awful and painful to die from, so I can't really evaluate them on that criteria. Hence, assuming a cure for neither existed, I would choose HIV/Aids.

*I basically agree with lindas response, but it has one factual error. Anti oxidants do not oxygenate your body.
Oxygenation therapies (ozone and peroxide especially) kill both conditions pretty well, but neither is generated via anti oxidants. Those prevent free radical damage.
