Is this true things such as cancer and what not those diseases that were inpenetratable are no penetratable?

Yes, stem cell research is a very promising thing. In the future, I believe many diseases will be cured by using stem cells. Of course, you hear all the controversy over stem cell research. That's because the Democrats want to pursue Embryonic stem cell research which kills embryos in the process-hence murder. What the Democrats refuse to admit is that we are doing just fine with umbilical and adult stem cells.

As long as people keep bitching about stem cell research and holding things up, we won't find out.

I doubt stem cells would cure Aids. Stem cells only allow to re-generate dead or sick cells to the extend of re-creating an entire organ like a liver. Aids is caused by the HIV virus which depletes the immune system from the CD-4. And CD-4 cannot be re-generated by stem cells, nor the stem cells can suppress the HIV virus. We are talking about oranges and apples here.
But it is an interesting question nevertheless!

i dont know the answer to this question, but thinking...if they could cure cancer, etc by using stem cells, that still wouldnt be the thing that STOPPED cancer from beginning. THAT is where we need to work on too

It's very important to distinguish between the two types of stem cells, embryonic and adult. Embryonic stem cells (ESC) are harvested from embryos and that embryo (and the human life within) are destroyed in the process.

Adult stem cells (ASC), on the other hand, can be harvested from various fluids and tissues without causing any harm. For example, umbilical cord blood, bone marrow, and even fat; yes, fat. There's no shortage of ASC and no moral or ethical issues involved.

Another HUGE difference...

Research with adult stem cells has already yielded over 60 effective treatments and promising clinical trials. It receives millions in government funding.

Embryonic stem cell research? Zero treatments. Yet there is a very vocal minority yelling from the rooftops for government funding of this lame duck. Why? How far down the rabbit hole of greed and political deceit do you want to go?

Fact is, if there was REAL promise behind ESC research, private companies would be funding it. Since ESC is a bust, the researchers have no choice but to try to BS money out of the government at the expense of tax payers. Plus, groups like Planned Parenthood have a vested interest in the dehumanization and exploitation of embryos and the unborn. After all, it's a big profit center for them.

To answer your question... there's no stem cell cure at present for cancer or AIDS but Adult Stem Cells are yielding promising treatments for many conditions. Perhaps a regneration and strengthening of the human immune system will be one of them.

Just don't buy the hype about embryonic stem cells. Vote and speak out against it. Share the truth.
