When Will There be a Cure For Cancer and Aids?? Why Is it So Hard to Find a Cure,Honestly...??

i hope we find it. we have come a long way though. i have a friend that just got cured.

As for AIDS it is an enveloped RNA virus due to this is has a hard shell on the outside and it is a small virus so it is constantly changing. Due to this a vaccine cant be found.

You have to understand that these diseases are complex and are difficult to cure given our current technology. Maybe in coming years, but as of now, we still have to wait.

When is anyones guess. The simple story as to why is that the term Cancer encompasses many different diseases so an advance to curing one type may not be of any help against the other types. AIDS is caused by a virus. Historically it's much harder to combat a viral infection then a bacterial infection which can be treated with antibiotics. The treatment has to be keyed just right to interact with the protein sequence of the virus and disable or destroy it. Due to natural mutation these protein sequences can mutate rendering the potential cure ineffective.

i've heard it's a conspiracy. consider the idea that doctors (as well as drug companies, scientists, etc) make an insane amount of money treating cancer patients.... why would they want to cure it expediently? it's a horrible thought, but there it is.

Because we spend more money on wars than we spend on reserch.

i have no doubt about their sincerity to find a cure. a cure that can make some money.

like crushed garlic in water has had promising results in a community center in Mozambique fro Aids. but there's no real money in garlic as a cure for Aids, so the big businesses don't look at it. they look for a cure like a vaccine which can make good money.

so my answer is that their not looking at every possible thing that could cure it with the same amount of interest. so its takeing a long time. becus they have to find a cure and a cure that can make money at the same time, so it's more complicated.

not that garlic is the cure for Aids. i don't know. but it would be good if they studied things like that with as much enthusiasm as they do things that could make a profit.

Cancer is hundreds of diseases, not just one. The difficulty is that different cancers are caused by different things, so no one strategy can prevent them, and different cancers respond to different treatments so no one treatment can cure them all

Quite a few cancers can be cured these days though. Cancer Research UK says that 7 out of 10 children are cured of cancer. Testicular cancer, Hodgkin's disease, and many cases of leukaemia can all be cured in adults with chemotherapy, most skin cancers are cured with surgery, and many cases of thyroid cancer and cancer of the larynx are cured with radiotherapy.

Many other types of cancer are also cured if they are found early enough - 75% of breast cancers found at stage one for example. There is still a long way to go, especially with some of the commonest types of cancer such as lung, breast, bowel and prostate cancer.

There's no conspiracy to hide a cancer cure .The conspiracy theory is an urban myth, generally circulated by those who have not had cancer or close experience of it

Consider, if there were such a conspiracy::

*whoever discovered the cure would be keeping quiet, even though it would bring them fame and fortune

*every medical professional in the whole world would have agreed to keep the cure secret. Every single one.

*the thousands of people who would have to have been cured by it in order to prove it worked would be keeping quiet about it too. Newspapers and other media wouldn't have got a sniff of it.

*doctors, scientist, researchers etc would be watching their relatives die and dying themselves (they and their families develop cancer at the same rate as the rest of the population) even though they knew of a cure

There is much research going on in all types of cancer to try and find a cure. Biological therapies such as cancer vaccines, monoclonal antibodies and gene therapies are all active areas of research. There is also research into how cancers grow their own blood supplies. Researchers are beginning to test 'anti-angiogenic' drugs that may be able to stop that happening and so stop cancers from growing. Of course you still have to find them early enough for this to be a cure. But there is hope that this treatment may also stop cancer secondaries from developing. Dedicated hard work by the very people the conspiracy theorists claim are trying to hide a cure.

路Existing treatments - chemotherapy and radiotherapy - are not perfect, far from it, but we know, because they have been clinically tested and proven, that they save some lives and extend many others.
