Why cannot God cure the cancer or aids but he can cure the homosexuality? how is that?has God preferences?

the cancer is killing people.. there is no cure for it!! but homosexuality according to you there is a cure? wow what kind of God is that? it sounds that homosexuality is not a disease.. it sounds like something natural.. even some animals are gay? how can you explain that?

Religion cures free thought and intelligence. Believing in 'God' cures irrational fears and prolonged boredom..that's it. For me ,standing on one foot and humming "Louie-Louie" gets me cured every time..see I didn't die yet. That proves it! Did you ever think that all of you who think that homosexuality is a choice, is because they had to make the effort not to be gay? God has NOTHING to do with anything! God is in your head,not in reality.

I'm not aware of any homosexuals being cured by a god.

i KNOW people who had the tumours one day, prayed to God and it was gone the next. don't act like you know everyone.

Those who assume either of these as fact will say that one (homosexuality) is a choice, while the others are not. This, of course, is preposterous.

god can't cure homosexuality, That is just people who try to deny who they really are and claimed to be "cured" when their really lying to themselves.

I'm not aware of anyone dying of homosexuality, given it's a state of mind, not a disease.

These are my reasons for not believing in God. If he's so incredibly powerful, then why aren't we perfect?

The scripture says God heals ALL diseases. That would include cancer and aids. However, I wasn't aware that homosexuality was a disease. I thought it was a choice.

God can cure AIDS, Cancer. There are documented instances of miraculous "cures" of both of these diseases.

Homosexuality is a choice so it is more easily "cured".

Of course you may take the Darwinian ideology that homosexuality is natural. Defective members of species become homosexual so they do not pass defects by breeding.

Christians do not think of Homosexuals as being either defective or the victim of a disease so homosexuality cannot be "cured" so to speak, except in the broadest sense, being "cured" of sin, repent and forgiveness.

FYI: I was diagnosed with a growing cyst in my femur which for some reason quit growing suddenly. The cyst is still there, but, I did not die of cancer. Was I cured? Why did the cyst stop growing? Will it start again after twenty some years?

There are lots of cancer cures including surgery and remission, caused by radiation, chemo therapy or .... God.

If someone is homosexual, and doesn't want to be, for sure they will be able to resist and refrain as much as they can in the name of God. Is that a 'cure'? I don't think so. They are just acting celibate- but the sexuality is still there.

Friend, God can heal people from cancer and AIDS and has done so many times.

god can and many times has deliver people from the lusts of the flesh like homosexuality, too.

as far as animals exhibiting homosexuality? so what? you think just because black widow spiders eat their mates, then it is ok if we do it? you think just because dogs eat their own vomit, then we should do it?

God can cure cancer or aids,,,,,but you have to have faith in him to be cured..as far Homosexuality goes, it is sin and the only cure for sin is to get rid of it. Have your sins covered by the blood of the lamb.

God will take it all away. It's just that people don't know what's going on, and so they expect certain things. I am not just talking about unbelievers, but believers too.

I am a Believer, and I'm also Bisexual. God hasn't taken away my tendencies, He has taken away my desire to pursue, giving me the wisdom and allowing me a way out of living that way. But I am not saying that all people will be treated as I am, but I am only saying, " That's what He did with me."

So suddenly those things are not so important to me. That's the way God works for me. An it can work that way for others, and I'm sure it has. But I don't know what God has planned for other people, I know only what He has done for me.

So to all my Homosexual and Bisexual, and Transsexual, and Lesbian brothers in Christ out there; You are my brothers and sisters in Christ, and we are family according to a Heavenly purpose. Peace and Grace from God the Father, and our Lord Jesus Christ, Amen.

Sickness is humanity is a result of sin in the world. It has to happen, some people having faith pray believing and are healed.

As far as homosexuality is concerned, this is a choice made by these individuals and it is a sin but they are disobedient to God and that is why they do it, but they shall answer for their deeds on the day of judgement.

The cure for Cancer was discovered sixty-seventy years ago. All natural, made by God. When a doctor realized what it was he was able to cure 100% of his patiants with in weeks of their coming to him.
BUT if the drug companies allowed this out their stocks would drop about 95%, Instead they do all they can to get people to get Cancer, so they can have more money.
Back in 1950 and before the odds of a person getting Cancer, including those that smoked cigerrets, was only about 3%. Now a days it is more like 3% that don't ever get it.
And how many "Cancer" patiants are dieing of Cancer and not of the cancer treatments these drug companies put out. A doctor of mine got Cancer and died of the treatment because it distroyed his liver.
God has little to do with the Cancers we have today. It's all in the hands of the money hungery.

Those that fear and hate, always have to have something to fear and hate. They pick on homosexuality because they are told to, by those that control (religions) their thinking.

I have a different outlook on the cure of cancer and aids.

I had a very dear friend who died of Aids. His family had rejected him right from the beginning, it had broken his spirit and his heart. His partner on the other hand, had been accepted by his family and his relatives, and they were good friends with him, which gave him a completely different emotional bond.

This is the reason I believe, that those who have families who desert them, become more apt to die from aids than those that are happy with their connection with their families and friends.

With regard to Cancer. There are many, many thousands of stories of remissions. I personally believe that it is the state of mind of the patient that assists in a long, good life for a cancer patient. It is unfortunate that some give up from the beginning and others KNOW they are going to become better.

Both examples show that it is not God, one way or another, it is us, as human beings who choose, sometimes unconsciously, to give up the fight.

Those who have studied and read and discovered for themselves, know that homosexuality is not a choice but something that a person is born with.

I am a grandmother who has had many Gay friends over my lifetime, and they have added to the joy of my life.

JOHN_D_A -Let me quote you "Defective members of speceis" and "defects by breeding". I don't need to say anything else, because you, are an example of the opposite of what Jesus, Buddha etc. taught. To love one another with no judgement and to love thy neighbour as thyself. That doesn't mean, to me anyway, the "man next door" it means every other person in this world, including gay men and women.

Why do you assume that God cannot cure cancer or AIDS? I have heard of people (no, I don't personally know any) that claim they have been cured of cancer by divine intervention.

God can do anything. Just because you don't believe, doesn't mean He can't.

Oh, and for your claim of animals being homosexual, I have yet to see an animal have a "life partner" with one of it's own sex. I have seen animals use sex for dominance, even over those of the same gender. Is that really what you want to use for a comparison or model?

it's because you can't cure cancer or aids by brainwashing the patient. you can, however, use brainwashing to alter a person's outward behavior. it doesn't change their sexual orientation, only their behavior.
