What happened with the Nigerian doctor who said that he has found a cure for aids?

You know thats a GREAT QUESTION! He more than likley has been put under alot of pressure by u guessed it! OUR PHARMACUTICAL COMPANIES!!!!!!! Seems like all cures disapear, think of all the money lost for DOCTORS AND ALL THOSE RX PERSCRIPTIONS NOT NEEDED! I know this sounds bad, but isnt illness a BIG BUSINESS, did u know that a avrg. aids patient is now living 23 yrs.this was just on CNN, but only if able to pay the cost, avrg. cost to LIVE SICK IS $600,000 see what I mean, also did u know we have not cured anything since polio!! CHECK U WILL SEE TRUE, IT ALMOST PUT PILL PUSHERS DRS. OUT OF BUSINESS! Hope I am wrong, but hard to believe this country cant cure SOMETHING BY NOW, room for serious thought! And how about insurance cost, more americans now more than ever have none! What a mess! I have lost loved ones to aids,cancer of the lung, breast, heart disesase and my best friend died 3 yrs ago not even 50 w/ diabetes! See any cures there? Or anywhere, hell we cant cure the common cold, yeah right! Look at all the $$$ spent on just cold and flus. This subject makes me sick! No cure for that either!

I never heard of him. There are so many like this though - they get their 15 minutes of fame and fade.
