Do you think there will be a cure for aids, cancer, or other incurable disease in the near future?

in the near future? depends
I mean, scientists work all their lives to help discover these things...sometimes you get lucky... look up gleevec...it's been a miracle, almost.
but as with anything worth having, it takes lots of work, lots of dedication and lots of money. if you want to see these cures, vote for people who will vote to appropriate lots of money to our scientific institutes, NIH, NSF, CDC, etc.

Um, most cancers can be cured if they are caught early enough. So I would say all of them will have a cure eventually.

in my opinion i thnk there is one and dr.s just don't want to give it to the media because it might not be a resource lasting frever. like a limited resource that they have and not very much of it

On a programme it sait that this scientist discovered a cure for HIV, but it won't be available for ages because of testing. I heard that there are curse for HIV- not sure about Aids, but apparantly it costs alot.

Shame there's no charities for it.

Anything is possible, but I wouldn't count on it. I don't mean to sound pessimistic, but trying find a cure for cancer, AIDS and other incurable diseases would probably take 2 more lifetimes.

No. AIDS is very complex and keeps mutating. Cancer is not one disease but many, and the neurological diseases like Lou Gerig's Disease, Parkinsons and MS are also exceptionally complex. We are not doing badly at learning to relieve the worst symptoms of those illnesses, but even there we have a long way to go.

I think they could cure them, but there is no money is cures. All the money is in treating the conditions
