Is there ever going to be a cure for aids, or hiv in are life time?

Some people say that there already is a cure for it. But the government is hiding it away because if they use the cure they will go out of business because no one will have it anymore.And there wont be as many people with it as much as they used too.So they wont get as much money.

Finding a cure for it is still in progress. Scientists look at plants in the Rainforest for it. And try to make their own.

I think there is a cure out there somewhere.

It all depends on the scientists that are alive during your life time. My guess is that there will be a cure for at least one of them, though it is a guess, not guaranteed. If you want to know why I think it is a possibility, it is because there are many people all around the world dedicating there entire lives to curing aids and or HIV. Sooner or later, someone will figure it out, and that person will become very, very rich

Perhaps. However, the fact that we've become good at "treating" patients who are HIV+ versus curing them makes me wonder if we are becoming complacent and maybe at some point we would just settle for treatments rather than cures. Right now it looks like HIV and AIDS are headed in the same direction as diabetes -- lots of great treatments, but not a cure as of yet. That said, I would love to see a cure in my lifetime!

The goverment will always true to "treat" someone. If they cure them, then they can't make the profit. And the hospitals, the doctors, the drug companies, and the tax form it all. Thety LOSE. So from a money stand point. Which is what this country is all about, the all mighty dollar. Then they will never release a cure for a major dease. Think about it. It slows down the sexual rate betrween people. SO that in turn slows the population growth. So that saves money from welfare and so on. And then the ones who are sick, pay and pay, till they die. The goverment wins, hands down.
