Do you think there will be a cure for aids?

The reason there is no cure is because AIDS is a man made Virus that was made for a reason. To kill off some of the population. We are in a very big economic mess thanks to our government and politicians and if they don't get rid of some of us then the big mess will only get bigger.

Another reason, doctors, pharmaceutical companies and the FDA. They are all in together on this and if you cure it they would lose out on Billions of dollars. When someone goes to the FDA with a cure for these types of illnesses, the FDA will not approve the cure for whatever reasons they state but the truth is they don't want to cure it. They don't want to cure AIDS, CANCER, HERPES, POLIO etc. etc. etc. because if they do, they won't be able to make all that money.

I don't know viruses can mutate making a overall cure very hard. I doubt it will happen anytime soon.

Maybe, but right now there's a sure way to prevent it.

They haven't found a cure for cancer yet and it has been around a VERY long time. I always hope that there will be a cure for both, but I don't know that it will actually happen. That's why I donate to research all the time. Can't find a cure without searching for it.

There is too much money to be made in treatments!!! If you think about it, there is no cure for any disease- other than the ones that can be knocked out with antibiotics. Everything else is just treated....

we can all hope that one day there will be a cure for aids. but in the mean time i think it is important for all of us to educate ourselves on this and all STD. you never know one day they could find a cure foe cancer. i mean they can clone sheep.

I think and hope a vaccine will be found for HIV/AIDS. Yet, I don't see it happening within two years. There are so many variables vaccines have to go through before be adminstered to the public.
You have grants, write-up's, paperwork. Then you have testing, repeated testing. Then they have to go before boards and FDA for approval to test on humans - testing begins and watch closely. More write-up's, paperwork, informing the boards and FDA what was found during testing, any problems and/or failures and side effects. Then the approval of the drug if it meets standards and don't forget medical companies and the enjoyment of taking bites out of the profit.

Well I hate to break it to you, but there is. Why do you think Majic johnson mysteriously got cured. Also ther is a cure for Cancer. Its just that the goverment would make no money ever if no one had sickness ike Aids, or Cancer... MONEY MAKES THE WORLD GO 'ROUND

I would say yes in our lifetime. But no to it being in 2 years. If it was that close we would be hearing about it more in the news and what not.
What do you think about Breast cancer? How close are we to finding a cure for that?
