They'd need to address a few other diseases. Also they'd need to round up the puritans who spend their time telling other people how to run their lives.

Then some people would take to it, others would stick to monogamy, since many peoples brains are wired for monogamy.

ummm...aren't we still in the age of free love and random sex protected and unprotected right now??? Did AIDS really make a difference??? I don't think so otherwise, we would not have so many ppl dying from it. It does not matter if they find a cure anyways...cause something else will come along because "random sex" is wrong and we suffer the consequences for it.

no i wouldnt have more random sex and just because they find a cure for Aids doesnt mean that it will be $5.99 at Wal- Mart and readily available to everyone

I would hope not. I imagine there are a lot of people who are HIV positive and are not diagnosed. The disease can be in a undetectable state and still be passed to a partner. People who are HIV positive are living a lot longer on the medications today. I have two family members who have both been diagnosed for over a decade, and are doing exceptionally well. Thank God. I don't think a cure would cause a relapse into casual sex.
