Can Yogatherapy cure chronic diseases like cancer and AIDS?

There is lot of research showing positive results in curing Psychosomatic diseases like stress,hypertension,asthma,diabetes etc.
Can Yogatherapy cure chronic diseases like cancer and AIDS?

I have heard that a unique relaxation technique"YOGANIDRA" is capable of curing chronic diseases like cancer and AIDS by curing through consciousness by using the inner potential of the indiviual.

No. I totally agree with the theory that many diseases are caused unconsciously by our state of mind like stress, depression, etc. And that alternative medicine such as yoga, tai chi and meditation can help cure them.

But it doesn't apply when were talking about very big illnesses such as cancer and AIDS. Specially if they already advanced.

I don't believe that Yoga can cure cancer or AIDS. I believe that it can help, though. But completely eradicate? Miracles can happen, whatever you attribute them to.

Besides being impractical, it wouldn't work. The virus infects lymphocytes and these are in the bone marrow and thymus as well as circulating in the blood.
