There are treatments that can slow it down, and more are being developed all the time.

Where have you been for the last 20+ years? There is no cure for HIV/AIDS. There are medicines that will keep the viral load low and people are living much longer with the virus. But no cure. There is no cure for herpes, either. Once you have it, you will always have it.

Because, biologically speaking, this virus cells mutate into different forms. For example - If Person A has one form of HIV, then infects Person B, Person B probably will end up with a slightly different version of the virus. Therefore, what could treat Person A may or may not work on Person B.

I have alwayz heard that there is no cure for HIV or Aids, but what's the deal with people saying that there is a cure. For example, Magic Johnson. I heard on tv he was cured of HIV, as well as a friend of mine. I was told she had Aids & was cured from it. Don't know if it's true, just repeating what I heard. I sure hope it is true, but who knows.

As for y they can't find a herb or such stuff to treat...... the reason is that AIDS virus mutates very quickly as soon as u find the cure, it would have turned in a more deadly monster so no hope yet.

There is no cure for it at the time being. Not one that's been released to the public anyway.
