Why do people have the time to say some is or isnt a planet or something but they cant make a cure to AIDS? |
I believe that we should stop worrying about unimportant things like does mars have ice. When people every day are drying from cancer and stuff. I understand that we killed our planet and need to move on but really we need to focus on AIDs and stuff. Because sadly, a lot of people just don't care. I agree. It's ridiculous. I mean,who would want to live on Mars anyways? It would be better to help the people here than wasting your time trying to figure out if there's people out there. Thanks. Report It silly rabbit, there is a cure for aids and cancer but it will never be put out there, its called population control Because not everyone has the same interests or talents. We might need to know about Mars in the future so people can emigrate there when our population gets too large. Honey I don't think NASA will be much help in the medical world. They're not virologists. think who brought AIDS...first then ask why, and how to cure. You know what, I'm so with you on this. I hate to think of this but, when/if they would find the cures then hundreds of millions of dollars woul be lost to the chemical companies. I don't know if in our lifetime we'll ever see that, but I certainly do hope so. Some people are better at certain things than others. I doubt you would ask a plumber to give up fixing toilets and go help find a cure for AIDS; likewise, many scientists are in no way biologists, and could do little or nothing to further the noble cause of curing HIV. I understand your frustration, and certainly more could be done in many areas of health care and social services, but to ask an astronomer to do something other than astronomy just isn't that productive. |

Many people speculate that because AIDS treatment costs are so high, like diabetes and cancer, that scientists are being held back from the cure to keep the c... For viruses, yes. However the cure for cancer has to be genetic in origin. ...there should be a cure ...the government has a cure, duh! they just dont want the world to be healed ... |
