Do you think there will ever be a cure for AIDS/HIV?

We've come so far in research and medicine, do you think it's possible that there is a cure and it's being blocked somehow?

I doubt a cure is the solution because the diseases[s] keep mutating to something just slightly different and therefore become less responsive to treatment and therefore cure.

I think the solution is preventative measures through vaccination.
Get it before it starts and has a chance to mutate.

I do think drug programs will develop that allow people to live full and hopefully quality lives w/t virus.

Possible yes. But probably not in the near future. There is less money in curing it, than just treating it.

the gov makes money off of sickness . I am sure there are more cures than we know.

Well....Stem cell research would def help get on the road to it soooo...Maybe people should be supporting that

In my opinon there already is a cure for aids and cancer but it is being withheld from us, they make more money off of the sick

i think there can be a way to prevent the child getting it but you cant ccure a person with it.... i think theyll use stem cells or cloning

I think there is NOW, but those without LOTS of money will never know it.... Look at Magic Johnson! How is HE so healthy after all these years with it?

Right now there is a vaccine. But it works strangely. It can keep you from GIVING it to someone else, but it won't keep you from getting it. If we developed the vaccine for commercial use, and required children to have it in order to go to school, we could end the disease, at least in this country.

I think there's a cure now for AIDS/HIV, Cancer, the common cold, etc., but they're not telling us.

Apparently finding a solution for ice melting in Antarctica and preventing something that might eventually cause harm to humans in the future is more important that curing AIDS. When's the last time a politician made a movie about AIDS?

they (some health show on 148) said there was some plant in Africa but gov. would not approve it n sprayed all their crops n ruined it all- (never heard about it again) (u know its simple for them-i think there is n we wont know about it)
