Can blood transfusions cure hiv or aids?

If you have hiv or aids, and you have a complete blood transfusion.. will it cure you?

No. There is currently no known cure for HIV or AIDS. Only treatments to prolong people's lives and let them live normally and comfortably. Theoretically, even if there's no cure the virus can, if treated, be non-lethal forever. But there is no way to remove it from the body yet.

As far as I know not only would that not cure HIV or aids, not even a bone marrow transplant would cure it. That's something that helps but some major illnesses into remission! I have a couple of family members and friend who have HIV and I would love for them to be able to cure it. They can reduce the virus so that it's almost undetectable in the blood, but they haven't figured out who to get rid of it for good yet.

no remember the getty guy he tried it does not work that way.HIv imbeds itself into the the internal organs like the brain and such so a mere transfusion will not clear you of the virus.

No, as the virus is in the body after it enters though the blood stream. It's like a cold, once you have it, you have it. But unlike a cold, there is no cure.
Men are not being treated like carriers; some African countries are teaching women to say "NO". As if that will stop a man intent on screwing somebody to stop. If you notice all ads to help Aids victims, it is about the women and children. But the men are doing the penetration. Lesbian women do not spread the disease.
Oh, well, that is another answer, so I'll quite my lecture, but I get so sad when women are always blamed for everything, even the spread of AIDS. Men, grow up and play with yourself rather than give your disease to everyone else.
