I'm just wondering something: if we had the ability to cure everyone of AIDS... wouldn't that mean AIDS no longer exists? Or at least exists only in science lab freezers, like the Black Death?
For the sake of providing an answer... both. For every dose of the cure they recieve through their own carelessness, I would charge a little bit more. Free for the first, then... $50, then $100, etc.

finding a cure means the disease is non-existent any longer in a MASS population, other than in 3rd world out of the way pockets, and medical labs.

Small Pox for instance only exists now in labs, and in small pockets in 3rd world countries. it's not an epidemic any longer.

it would be the same if AIDS was "cured" and why the heck would you charge the people that would be left to be exposed after developed countries are cured? those ppl only get it because they are so isolated from the developed world and they don't have the medical resources we do or our money...i wouldn't charge anything in that case.
