Will we ever cure AIDS and cancer?

Who out there believes that the money spent by the current clowns professing to run the U.S. should've been put to used in trying to find cures for AIDS and cancer instead, and would we have achieved THAT by now instead of still spending more money in a war that will never be settled and pretty much meaningless?

At the present time, there is no cure for AIDS. Treatment stresses aggressive combination drug therapy when possible. Several vaccines to prevent initial HIV infection and disease progression are being tested. In 2002, reports showed a new 鈥渓ibrary鈥?vaccine showed potential. The vaccine is composed of up to 32 HIV gene fragments that can induce a number of immune responses. In the same year, the British government worked with five African countries in a trial to find an effective gel that would protect women against HIV during sex.

I think one day AIDS will find a world wide cure but Cancer's cure will never be introduced to the public.

there is a possibility that it can be cured if it's given more research(i.e. AIDS is caused by a virus, virus doesn't have a cure). I totally agree with your opinion! Ask more coz your questions a re worth answering. Be safe!

Yes they can be cured, but not with the classical methods.Read the book "Medicine Enlightened" writen by prof.Umesh Rai.

As for aids,if people lived right with no homo activity there would be no one with aids.
I have heard that cancer is cureable but the doctors are keeping it quiet because if the news got out than they would lose lots of money.

i believe that there is a cure already also. there are so many charities out there that get millions of dollars donated to find a cure for diseases. donations have been pouring in every day for many many years, if they are getting all of the money. there are so many problems here in our own country to address. there are people who are homeless. there are working people who can't afford the drugs that they are prescribed. everything is about money. this war is costing us dearly. prices are hiking up on everything. they wouldn't make those drugs affordable enough for the average person anyway.

Apparently you need to do some research. Cancer and AIDS are both entirely treatable and BOTH have been cured for thousands, but NOT by pharmaceutical-based means. The LAST thing that the pharmaceutical industry, as well as large charities who exist because of AIDS or cancer would want, is a "25 cent cure" that would put them "out of business". I'm sure we will. Remember in 1918 over a million peopled died of flu. Penicillin was discovered less than 100 years ago, before that people died on any simple infection. Before the invention of anesthesics surgeries couldn't be performed and the mortality rate for appendicitis was 100%. Look how far we've come, I'm sure we'll beat AIDS and Cancer, it just takes time. Both of these diseases are treatable, just not curable yet, but someday soon they will be, I'm positively sure.

Aids.I believe one day they will cure this pandemic.Until I seen the devasting effects of this desease on roc hudson I thought only homos got it. Now iknow different.There were cases in africa where a group of women who earned thier living by the oldest profession in the world. they nor thier children caught the desease.If that is the case,it may lead to something.Then I've read of poor babies being infected by thier mothers' milk.If this is true I wonder how could an infected mum give birth to a healthy baby,then infect the child by breastfeeding If i'ts true then within the mother, during pregnancy protected the baby.If either of these cases are true{the african ladies-or the pregnant mums)then Im sure that great minds are working on it.One day someone will find the key lock the door of this trajic desease....Cancer A very famous american actor/comedian many many years ogo tried vainly to find a cure for his sons' leukemia He took his son to the best specialists in britain and europe.His name was red skelton,he returned home with his son Unfortunately his son died. Today the boy would probably live.As they find a cure for one cancer a new one seems to devolope.I'ts a never ending struggle.

they already know the cure for both,but healthy people do not make money for the drug companies and if they don't make money,they can't continue to line the pockets of politicians etc,to keep them funding their research!with our tax dollars. Do a little research on "Cellular Zeolites"

i hate to say this but it doesn't look to good at this time for aids,little for cancer. but there are hopes for them both. someone is close to it i hope it is real soon. GOD BLESS the one who finds the cure for both
