Is Cal Poly San Luis Obispo good for.........? |
i would like to know if Cal Poly SLO is a good school for Bio-med engineering. and possibly if that degree would help me become someone who studies cures for diseases like different STD's, cancer, or AIDS. please help Yes, it is a school that can definatly help your goals. My friend went there for the exact same reason, and she is now working at Boston Scientific, reasearching that kind of stuff. so, choose Cal Poly, it is an amazing college and area. Not only a great school - whose reputation improves each year - it is located in an incredible town. SLO is one of those rare towns (and colleges) that is academically rich and progressive but doesn't have one iota of elitism. It has a good rep for bio-med - quite a high ranking in that area as well if I remember correctly. And it will indeed help those aspirations. |
