What is your favorite movie lately, and your favorite movie of all time, and why?

"The Cure" is a VERY good movie. It is about an 11 year old with Aids and his best friend who together find a cure for it by doing things only kids would think of. It is a touching tear jerker that will make even the toughest Soildier, Sailor, or Marine cry.

To Have and Have Not (1944)

The film debut of Lauren Bacall.
The most famous scene in To Have and Have Not (1944) is undoubtedly the "you know how to whistle" dialog sequence. It was not written by Ernest Hemingway, ' Jules Furthman' or William Faulkner, but by Howard Hawks. Hawks wrote the scene as a screen test for Bacall, with no real intention that it would necessarily end up in the film. The test was shot with Warner Bros. contract player John Ridgely acting opposite Bacall. The Warners staff, of course, agreed to star Bacall in the film based on the test, and Hawks thought the scene was so strong he asked Faulkner to work it into one of his later drafts of the shooting script.

My favorite movie is Into the Wild, because it's a true story and it's sad but makes you think a lot.
SCARFACE is the best movie of all time, because it stars Al Pacino, the best actor of all time. This is also his first movie with Michelle Pheiffer. Also the person who plays his sister was her screen debut and you have to admit she did pretty well for her first film.
