Will they be any cure for hearing losses? |
Without hearing aids or cochlea implant. Assuming the problem is not due to obstruction, either in the middle ear, such as catarrh, or wax in the external ear canal, the odds are that most deafness is 'nerve deafness' this is unfortunately not treatable. I can relate to this subject. The fact that technology has improved dramatically throughout the years, I'd say anything is possible. At the mean time depending on the severity of one's hearing loss, implants or digital hearing aids will have to do. It depends on what type of loss you have. . . I just recovered almost all the hearing in one ear with a stapedoctomy -- that's surgery. I have otosclerosis. Probably better if you consult an ENT at a good hospital. Good luck. Maybe one day you can but hope. What? |
