Do you like this story idea?

It will be the year 2100. Robots now take over the work of normal labourers. People drive in hover cars and flying cars have ben invented, although not yet released to the public. One in three people own a hover car. One in five cars is computer driven. One in 300,000 people own a private airplane. One in a million people own a private rocket. The cars, planes etc. Will be powered by rather compressed air or water.
The world now all speaks English. Children go to primary school from the ages of 5-10 and go to high school from the ages of 11-19. College lasts for a minimum of 2 years and each person must go. Global warming has been ended and people now live longer. The average age is 105.
People now have more money, there is less poverty, third, second and first world countries are almost equal. Medicine has been invented to cure virul infections, and cancer patients have more of a chance of living. AIDS has been eradicated.
People will be taller by 3-5 centimeters and will often weigh more. There will be an average of 3 kids per household. The Earth's fossil fuels will be all gone. Gas, water, electricity and air will be used to power everything.
Man can now travel to mars, although no life form has been found there yet. Twenty people now live on the moon, they have been living there for 3 months and are doing scientific studies.

Is it a little far-fetched? Do you have any ideas?

Thanks!

It will actually be nothing much like sci-fi as I hate the stuff, lol. It will just be based for a teen/young adult novel.

A good sci-fi story, but still a little backward. Cancer patients have a chance of living, you said, not that cancer is fully eradicated. In my view, cancer will be history in twenty years! Secondly, how can Earth sustain such a large population if there are an average of three kids in every family? Your story would be better if you say that some faraway moon or planet has been found suitable for living and many humans are living there. Best of luck with your story!

Sounds good, Are you on any writing sites? I joined a writing community called http://www.chapteread.com I think you might find it useful. They have great writing tools and posting features for getting critiques and reviews. It's really easy ! and The other writers give helpful advice. Worth checking out!

Personally I wouldn't read it, it's not really my cup of tea.
